Garden Genie Vermiculite is Horticultural Grade, Non-toxic Mineral. Vermiculite is a naturally occurring mineral made of magnesium-iron silicate. Vermiculite can be used independently or mixed with Potting Soil, Coco-peat or even compost. By mixing 1:1 ratio of Vermiculite with soil, peat or compost eliminates packed down soil in flower pots and houseplant containers. It promotes soil aeration, retains moisture and nutrition and eliminates damping off.
